Sonia decided to pursue a career in Physiotherapy after being a patient for many years following knee surgery as a high-level soccer player. She began her work experience as a volunteer and later as a Physiotherapy Assistant in the same Orthopaedic clinic that she once was a patient. During this time she was also coaching youth soccer as part of a local club’s technical staff. Sonia then went on to complete her two years Masters in London, England and therefore has a variety of international clinical experience. Sonia continued her practice as an Orthopaedic Physiotherapist and additionally went on to pursue a career in Pediatric Physiotherapy.
Sonia is a passionate Physiotherapist and she enjoys all aspects of her career. This is reflected in her therapy sessions where she creates a warm, inviting and friendly environment for her patients while delivering an effective treatment. Sonia’s approach to Physiotherapy is primarily centred on current evidence-based treatments which include manual techniques, education and exercise.
"I love what I do and this is reflected in how I practice. I want to bring my patients more then just physical therapy; I want them to leave with a smile."
